Millions of women sat glued to their TVs, when “Suburban Madness” aired. This made-for-TV movie told the story of Clara Harris, the Texas dentist who killed her cheating husband by running over him 3 times. The shock of seeing David Harris with his mistress after he told his wife he was ending the affair, pushed Clara Harris over the edge. Betrayed by the man she loved, hurt to the very depths of her soul, this, devoted wife and mother ran over her husband in a fit of blind rage.

“There are 26 million potential Clara Harrises out there” says Ruth Houston, infidelity expert, and author of “Is He Cheating on You? - 829 Telltale Signs. “According to statistics, that’s the estimated number of unsuspecting wives whose husbands are having an affair.”

NOTE: Statistics indicate that 50% to 70% of men cheat on their mates. 2/3 of those women have no idea their husbands are having an affair, despite the presence of numerous telltale signs.

“While no one is excusing or justifying what Clara Harris did, any woman who’s been cheated on can identify with the hurt, humiliation, and anger Clara Harris must have felt .” explains Houston. “Under similar circumstances, any unsuspecting wife could overreact the same way that Clara Harris did. When matters of the heart are involved, it’s easy to lose control.”

Research about how users are utilizing the internet has multiple implications. The groups that stand to benefit from groundbreaking marketing and e-commerce news may surprise you.

Increasingly it appears that the new feminist/womanist agenda needs to turn towards economic development and wealth building initiatives targeting historically disadvantaged populations, in connection with personal development. A vital aspect of realizing the potential of such an apiration must begin with dissemination of information. These issues, the ones discussed in this article, are applicable to anyone in business online.

There has been a great deal of discussion on closing the digital divide in terms of women of color and populations in economically disadvantaged circumstances. Online enterprises can offer significant benefits to nonprofit and feminist outreach organizations addressing economic or entrepreneurial development that is both cost effective and more easily implemented. Online business can offer an extremely forginving learning curve when compared with an under capitalized bricks and mortar business.

According to B to B magazine Thomas Industrial Network’s recent study showed that online sourcing is the solution of choice by business buyers.

Those surveyed found increases in productivity and significant savings demonstrating real ROI value.

21% of buyers estimated they saved their companies more than $501 per month through online sourcing

18% reported savings of more than $1000 per month

51% of buyers said their company saved at least 51 hours per month by using online sourcing

21% saved 500 hours per month

13% estimated time saved at more than 1000 hours per month

What does this mean to you? This means new opportunity for business growth online.

Once you have an idea for a product find out if there’s a market looking for it. Are you looking for a new profit generating way to promote your affiliate or network marketing business opportunity? Provide information related to your products benefits to the user.

If you’ve been pondering how to profit from your website, I’ve got news you’ll want to pay attention to.

A recent research study by Yahoo! And Grey Worldwide, San Francisco gave some priceless information to online marketers.

The report indicated business owners reported Web sites topping the list of “critical” marketing tools (69%), followed by search engine keywords (36%), and community relations (35%).

Other “critical” marketing tools included email marketing (24%), direct mail (22%), and the Yellow Pages (12%).

Now the other key piece of information you need to know is why buyers go in search of your Web site. The answer yet again: to find information. Increasing numbers of buyers are looking for information before they buy.

Interestingly Thomas Industrial Network’s study indicates that 55% of buyers found lack of specific product information to be a chief complaint and reason for going elsewhere to do business. That means your website needs to either directly provide it or point the visitor towards it.

One of the obvious challenges for very small and home based businesses is competing with the advertising budgets of larger small businesses and midsize companies.

But if small and home based businesses focus on providing value driven quality content there’s an opportunity to get buyers attention using focused campaigns that make the best use of applied resources.

One of the most profitable approaches is niche marketing. Finding an untapped or less competitive segment of your target market.

You definitely want to learn about the insider secrets to SEO (search engine optimization) and increasing your presence in your carefully targeted keywords. While they do have to find your web site first, make sure they aren’t disappointed once they arrive.

Chances are good that there’s a market looking for any product imaginable, you just have to make sure they can find you where they are looking.

This is the gap that nonprofit outreach organizations can begin to fill. Helping those new to the internet, but seeking to build online businesses to locate the information they need. Then set an example by running your own online fundraiser to generate revenue like any profitable online business.

It is said, to be successful in selling, you must be passionate about what you sell. This is easy if you love designer handbags and fashion. Fashion is a huge industry. Wholesale designer handbags and fashion is also quickly becoming a very large and profitable industry.

But as good as it sounds, there are many things to know before you jump in and become a designer handbag wholesaler.

The most important issue you must understand is the manufacturing and distribution channels of the top designers. The production of designer handbags is almost a top-secret event. With the heavy competition between the designers to offer the latest and hottest trends for the up coming season, handbag manufacturers keep quite about their production runs, the quantity they will produce and orders must be placed two or three seasons in advance just to get any product. What does this mean to you, the wholesaler? It means that you cannot call up GUCCI or Hermes and ask for a couple hundred bags and expect to not get laughed at (in Italian of French of course). It also means that the top designer handbag manufacturers only supply their product to large retailers, small boutiques and maybe a website with an exclusive contract.

So where do all the handbags that you see for sale online come from? Well, that is the key to getting into the wholesale designer handbag business. Most of the bags come from intentional or unintentional overstock by the small to medium size boutiques oversees. They will sell off their surplus of last season’s handbags to distributors who will then sell them to wholesalers. It is your goal to find these distributors.

To find reputable, honest dealers who distribute authentic merchandise is tricky. There are a couple of things to consider.

**Most dealers that sell designers from Italy, France and England are not found in the US. It only makes sense. They need to have a close relationship with the boutiques, and very rarely the manufacturers themselves, that supply them with their overstock. So become familiar with what country the handbags you want to sell were originally produced.

**Learn the language. You will need to learn a little Italian or French. Just enough to understand colors, styles and shapes of the handbags when you are given an inventory list. It would also be good to know enough to at least say hello and what your intentions are when initially contacting the dealer. Learning the language is also extremely helpful when conducting searches on the internet. Don’t limit your search to pages here in the US, search google and yahoo in Italian and French as well.

**Contact as many dealers as possible. This will help to validate which ones are honest and have an interest in a business relationship. Once you have received the inventory/price list from several dealers, cross reverence them. Are the prices similar? Are the quantities on hand reasonable? This is important to gage if the dealer is selling authentic merchandise. If he has 600 of a particular bag, chances are they are not real. It is not reasonable, given the means in which he most likely purchases his stock and the production methods of the manufacturing, that he would have so many of one style.

**Understand all terms of sale prior to placing an order. It is not uncommon that the dealer will want a deposit on your order. You will usually commit 30% up front and pay the remainder when the items have shipped. Many dealers will only accept bank transfers. This is where becoming a designer handbag wholesaler takes a great deal of faith. A bank transfer offers no protection from the dealer taking your money and never shipping product. If he was dishonest and took the funds, but shipped nothing, you could have very little recourse. Unlike a money order or credit card purchase, there is no 3rd party protection. At the least, make sure you have the dealers phone number, complete business address and email address.

Of course, like with all start-up business, there are many, many more things to consider. But to make your search for the right distributor easier, we highly recommend going to ModaImports.com. Unlike the many lists and directories that claim to offer true sources for authentic designer handbags, ModaImports.com has used, or contacted, all of the sources on their Supplier Database.

If you have a passion for fashion and are looking to start your own lucrative business, wholesale authentic designer handbags is a great business opportunity.
